Mornin Folks:
I know that many of you out there are gun owners. I am also, My wife asked me a question I could not answer (boo hoo on me). How is the length of a rifle barrel measured?

Someday this may become a tax situation.

Measure from the base of the cartridge to the muzzle. If you are an ATF agent, contrary to convention, they measure from the tip of the shell in the chamber to the muzzle in determining illegal barrel lengths. Perhaps our new Federal administration will provide some legislative guidance.
