OK. I have taken care of the Federal portion of a client not filing returns for the past 5 years by reading past posts from all of you. Great info, especially Taxea, ED SMITH, and geekgirldany! A few more questions for any New York or state specialists;
Have you ever heard of or used the Voluntary Disclosure and Compliance Program?
Would you just prepare the past state returns and send them in or go through the program first?
