    TMI a Leader

Interesting that QF just came out with a combined handbook (1040 and Small Business) copying what TMI has been doing all along. Looks to me like the industry leader here is TMI. I have been very pleased with the TMI TAX BOOKS.

Yes, I like TTB alot better. I ordered the web cd this year too. It really looks like it will help find the answers I want FAST. And of course, sometimes when were crunched for time, that is important.

      WebCD Absolutely

One of the things you can expect in the Web CD is the updates. When practical, the original print in TTB is scratched through and the updated information is penciled in. That way you can see exactly what has changed since the first of the year.

Like it or not, Congress seems to be unconcerned with the fallout from multiple changes in the tax code every year. This is particularly cumbersome when occuring late in the year, as they had no qualms whatsoever with delaying the e-file season for 2007 returns even though warned by the IRS this would happen.

Apparently, the trend is to pass desired legislation, they scoop out a witches' brew of tax sweeteners to entice other congressmen to vote in favor of said legislation. This has already happened several times this year. TheTaxAuthority Update Service is your solution, and the Web CD is updated accordingly.
