Too busy to look it up, but I think it would be late. Don't you have only about five days to resubmit rejected returns? Or, is it longer? I remember either 20 October or 20 days! Better take your laptop along with you....

You efile a tax return for your client on 10/15/2008 and then you start your vacation on the next day. Two weeks later when you are back from vacation, you find the tax return has been rejected due to an efile technical error. You fix the error and re-efile it on Oct 30. Would the tax return be considered late?
