Proseries Problem - Schedule M1NC Form

For any of you Minnesotan's out there that may be able to help me, I have a return ready to E-file with the exception of the MN return pulling in the Form M1NC (MN Federal Adjustments). I don't believe this form applies in any way to this particular return. It's just an HOH return, daycare credit, child care credit, EIC, with 1 W-2 and some minimal interest from savings bonds.

It won't let me just delete the form because it keeps pulling in back in. I cannot just complete the form in zeros and file because the form says it is not going to be E-file ready until 1/29/11. I really need to file this return ASAP as the person is in a tough situation (single mom) and she needs the funds to support her two young children. Can anyone advise what to do? Thanks!

Wisconsin had the same problem with schedule I (WI federal adjustments) is not finalized, yet I had 2 returns that did not need adjustments, and they did not show any errors but after transmitting were rejected from Wisconsin because Schedule I was needed. I called tech support on the first one and they said I needed to check with the state or "just" file a paper return. After the second one I called again, they said they were aware of the problem and trying to get it worked out.

Wisconsin does not need to "piggyback" so I filed the Federal and now will wait until the Schedule I is finalized - even though it is not a needed form - or hopefully they'll have the bugs worked out.

Does Minnesota allow a stand alone filing? You could then file the Federal and wait until state is worked out by Intuit.

If you follow the Federal refund cycle chart the expected refund is Feb 4th whether it is efiled today or Wed (to be accepted on Thurs) so there is time for Intuit to fix the problem.

Final option, efile Federal and snail mail paper return for MN.
