Self-employed deduction for spouse's Medicare B (Oh, no, not again!)
Sorry to harp on this again. Has anyone found any new chapter and verse on this? The new Pub 535 is silent on it. Kiplinger says no, but that is hardly definitive.Last edited by appelman; 03-19-2013, 07:04 PM.

Self-employed health insurance -- another angle
Facts: Clients are a California married couple. Husband is self-employed; wife is salaried, but has no employer-provided health care coverage. Only insurance is an HDHP established in the wife's name to qualify for a family HSA. HSA is funded by pre-tax payroll deductions from wife's salary, though there is no designation on her W-2.
