Client has just been told that by IRS that you can't file an extension for 1065. He and wife have partnered in an LLC for at least 7 years and I always filed a 7004 for them. They just got a penalty letter for late filing 2006 on Oct. 10, 2007. Doesn't sound right to me. Any comments? Thanks.
