Jainen, question for you,
T/p stationed in foreign country, so can use the foreign income exclusion for Federal, but as I understand it, California does not recognize.
T/P has maintained driver's license in Calif, voters registration in Calif, bank account in Calif and his US employer operating in foreign country has deducted California Withholding. He has not abandoned his Calif residency.
So income is totally taxable to California, correct?
Thanks,
Sandy
