Had a client today who qualified for the non-custodial parent eic (form IT-209). Past years the Q&A process asks for the children's name, SSN & DOB. This year it didn't and got no red or yellow alerts during the e-file process. However when I go back and enter the childrens info by overriding it red flags it. Is this info not required anymore or will we be hearing from NY for this info later on?
