Has anyone here ever set up an educational assistance program. I have a small business employer that may be interested in that. Section 127 says up to 5250 can be excluded from gross income, that means its excluded from payroll taxes too right? I know on the 941's it says gross wages, and if that is excluded from gross wages, would make sense that not on payroll taxes, but not so sure about that. Anyone familiar with this?
I know this would have to be provided to every employee within a certain class, right? Say all management? Or all salaried employees?
