I am starting a new thread since per diem for truck drivers might be different since they usually sleep in their truck. I got a client who got reimbursed slightly more than the actual days out of town times the trucker per diem rate. If the employer reimbursement does not state that this is for meals only, am I home free as long as the total per diem reimbursement does not exceed meal plus lodging rate per Federal chart?
