I know most of y'all hate the EITC. That said, how many of your clients have gotten the 8862 letter? Or admitted to it? In my area, which is known for EITC fraud, SS# fraud, and other tax related fraud, this is a standard question, and 99% of the time, the answer is no. Last season, I think it was 2 clients who got that notice. And then they showed me proof (school and medical records) that they could indeed claim them.
