I purchased a package from ASTPS that included their bootcamp on CD. Working my way through it along with a few books on the subject.

Not liking the software options so far either.

I would recommend that you joint NATP and you'll find such a joint discussion - they have the best. Become a member now.

Best place I know of is the NAEA web board for EAs. Major experience levels there in OIC and many other areas of tax work.

Anyone do many of these? Does anyone know of a forum where people who do these get together and chat about them like this forum does with taxes? I'd love to read about the issues they face, software they are using and stuff like that.
