Message for CPAs
At Tax Materials, Inc., our continuing professional education (CPE) courses are registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), and our company is recognized as a Quality Assurance Service (QAS) sponsor. To maintain these credentials we are required to have CPAs conduct pilot testing of updated courses to ensure appropriate content and length.
We are in the process of compiling a listing of CPAs who would be willing to help with pilot testing. A CPA who wishes to participate will be provided CPE materials at no charge. The individual will complete the written study guide, which includes a final examination. When pilot testing is finished and the course is ready to release, the CPA will receive a Certificate of Completion showing the award of CPE credits.
Courses are pilot tested on an ongoing basis throughout the year. A CPA who agrees to be on the list is not obligated in any way to accept any pilot testing opportunity when presented. The purpose of the listing is to compile contact information for CPAs who might be interested in pilot testing at some time in the future.
In summary, this is a way for CPAs to receive free CPE credits in exchange for taking our self-study courses and providing information for our pilot testing program.
