Does anyone know if there is an alternative fuel tax credit of .50 cents per gallon available to individuals who use a natural gas powered automobile. It will be a personal auto, not business. It is also an 8 year-old vehicle, so I don't see a purchase credit.
I can only find information that seems like the .50 cent credit goes to the station that sells the alternative fuel and something about transit systems, school buses, etc. This is just an individual wanting a credit on their tax return for using this type fuel for personal driving.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
