    Energy Credit

    The Non Business Energy Property Credit is dropping from $1500 to $500 in 2011 and limited by the amount taken in previous years. The Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit appears to be unchaged and without limit.

    Does anyone know if the Non Business (doors and windows) credit taken in a prior year reduces the Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit?
    In other words, a democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it.
