The Schedule M, Making Work Pay Credit, for Form 1040, Line 10, asks whether or not the taxpayer and spouse received a 2010 Economic Recovery Payment. The IRS has released an online tool that verifies this payment. In order to determine if a payment was received, the taxpayer’s social security number, date of birth and zip code must be known.
