I prepare taxes for about 60 to 70 clients in the Olympia, WA area during the tax season. I met with clients and delivered completed returns to them at the office of a financial advisor. The financial advisor decided to close his office. I need to have a place to meet with my clients during the 2010 season (for a fee or percentage of course). I live in Puyallup, WA, to far from Olympia to be a practical meeting area.
I am a 74 year old EA and may not prepare taxes much longer. I could leave the clients with the office I use when I quit.
Most of my clients have expressed a desire to continue with me as a preparer because they like my service. It is not financially practical for me to rent an office in Olympia.
