    Student loan interest

    Is there a time limit for getting the deduction. I am on TTB 12-8 and do not see one> I thought over 5 years(?) old or somtehting was an additional limitaion???? Maybe

          I must have dreamed there was a time limitation fro taking the deduction. I have got to learn to have smarter dreams...

              You didn't dream, Jon. Just looking in the wrong time (21th century).

              For the longest time student loan interest deduction was limited to 60 months. Some years ago they have done away with it.
