I guess 2008 was desperate times. Had my second client inform me of investing in some late nite infomercial - open a Corp or S Corp in Wyoming, I haven't checked, must be cheap to incorporate there.
The latest client is not asking to write off anything, and in fact the agency they signed up with gave them tax preparation out of Los Angeles for 2007 tax year. That agency wrote off "nothing" for start up! I have a copy of the tax return.
