They need to be told "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I too have gone to google. taxea -
I have only searched the site for by keywords, and actually haven't noticed any changes, but like JG I usually go to Google first. I also find the older I get the more resistant I am to change. And I totally agree with Erchess this is really bad timing for changes to the site. It's nice to have the link to make complaints, but some may not have problems, it's okay to agree to disagree.I have not been to the new site but I would say that May would have been a better time to make massive changes in their site. I don't know about the rest of you but when I get around to looking for something from the IRS during the season I want it badly and I am in a hurry to have it.Leave a comment:

The best way to navigate the IRS website is to google want I want and put IRS in the request and it takes you to the right place. Usually anyway.Leave a comment:

We're a bunch of old dogs learning new tricks. My computer died in early Feb. Had to get used to the new and wonderful (not) VISTA. Had to buy new Quickbook because wonderful VISTA doesn't support versions below 2009. Had to buy a new scanner because there is no wonderful VISTA compatible driver download. Had to use the laptop to transfer data from the external hard drive backup to the wonderful VISTA because it doesn't support the version of Ghost I used. Didn't even try to install my good old Office 98, so had to buy Office 2007 and re-learn it because nothing is where it used to be when I could whip out a spreadsheet before you could blink.
I actually felt sad losing that old computer. We'd been through some real good times and some hard times together. There it was, on the floor in the middle of my office with it's poor little belly open and cables hanging out from our attempts to resuscitate it. Well, we respected its wishes to be an organ donor, so my sister has it for parts.Leave a comment:

new design
Look at the search boxes more closely. You may search for product number for a
form (1120, 1065, etc) OR a word in a title.
Try typing in "corporation" in first box, then click on second box for drop down menu and
select "title".
I like it.Leave a comment:

New website
Getting forms is a pain. You have to have the exact form/schedule number:
1120S gets nothing. 1120-S does.
1040ES gets nothing. 1040-ES does.Leave a comment:

Jim and Tax Lady...now that is exactly what I am talking about. I noticed a post from someone a few days ago and thought it might be worth the effort of posting an address we can complain to...guess some don't agree. But I am sure some will appreciate it. taxeaLeave a comment:

100% agree
Oh I do agree with you .... I hate it ... Before if I wasn't sure what number form I wanted I could scroll through the whole thing and find what I wanted. Now you better know exactly what you want or you will be forever finding it. I totally liked the old way soooooo much better.
Do you think they will listen if enough moan and groan to them ..... Count me in ... I'm a big whiner ... or is that weiner .... or weinie ... or wino .... ...
point is .. I detest their new set up!!!! LOLLeave a comment:
