I am doing the substantial presence test to see if he files with his wife. On TTB 14-13, substantial presence test is counting "current year." Is that the current TAX year we are working on?
Are the requirements the same to determine whether or not he can claim his kids (who moved back to Australia last year) as is on ttb 14-13 regarding resident aliens?
