    IRA Deduction

Husband works for a company and gets W-2. Wife is self-employed. His wages are $52000 and her net income on Sch C is 910. They want to put money in IRA for wife. Is her IRA deduction limited to her Sch C income less 1/2 of SE tax or can she put more in based on spousal IRA?

I used to have a IRA worksheet but can't find it.

    Thanks for the help.

The spouse can contribute the full amount allowed either 4000 or 5000 if catch up. This is as long as one spouse has enough income to cover total IRA contributions.
