Question taxpayer final return no surviving spouse. Daughter who is exuctor of prop. needs to file can we e-file return or does it need to be sent in on paper? On TBB pg 21-8 number 3 it does not state.

The best way to find out is to file the return electronically. If it is rejected then there is your answer.

Try getting the daughter as a client to replace the dad.
