      If they are filing a Schedule C, then they can deduct the employees' part on the C. They deduct their own premiums on Sche A.

        If filing sch C self-employed individuals can claim the self-employed insurance deduction. Per page 5-10 of the TaxBook

          Only if not eligible to be covered under a spouse's employer plan, as I recall. They don't actually have to be covered, just eligible, to kill the SEHI deduction.

            Yep you are correct. This is also on page 5-10 of the TaxBook.
