    ACA penalty exception

Can someone tell me, is there an easy way to find the costs of the bronze and silver plans? I started on the Colorado exchange and got going down a road wanting personal information. Is there another way?

    TIA

You should be able to find the info here: https://www.healthcare.gov/tax-tool/

This one only works if the state doesn't have its own marketplace. In the case of Washington for example it sends me to wahealthplanfinder.org after I enter my location. Colorado also appears to have their own marketplace.

For Colorado the lookup tool is here. http://lowestbronze.connectforhealthco.com/

        Thanks to You

This post motivated me to look for the LCBP in MA. Last year I could lnever find one. Just now I found a calculator at https://betterhealthconnector.com/2015-lcbp-calculator
I also found one for NY. My guess is you can now found a calculator for every state.

          No calculation for subsidy

Keep in mind that the numbers from healthcare.gov/tax-tool does not calculate the subsidy that the client would be eligible for. You need that number also to determine if they are eligible for the insurance is affordable.

And, if you're getting the info for a 2015 tax return, make sure it's 2015 plan costs as the easy-to-find-sites are for 2016 sign-ups.
