I have a client who is an over-the-road truck driver. He sometime sleeps in hotels or in his truck. How much money per night could he get when he sleeps in his truck? Thanks.

None. Unlike meals, there is no per diem tax deduction allowed for lodging.

Here is a link to look up the rates by zipcode!

GSA establishes the maximum CONUS (Continental United States) Per Diem rates for federal travel customers.

Trucker can deduct the meal rate I think it is $59 (80% with DOT hours). No deduction for lodging if they sleep in the truck cab!

I have a driver who sleeps in his cab but most truck stops with showers will give you a free coupon with fill up!
