Is the fees paid to an attorney to help collect social security disability deductible on Schedule A?
Social security disability is taxable on return. Book says deductible if to collect taxable income. Fees were $3700.

Yes, deductible in the same ratio as taxable SS. If 50% of SS taxable, deduct 50% of legal fee on Sch A. Subject to the lovely 2% clip, I believe.
