wants to change to a "S" corp. I have no trouble with the federal election. Is there anything that has to be done on the state????????????????

The distinction between an S Corp. and a C Corp. is strictly with the IRS.
Whether it is an S or a C Corp. it is still just a corporation as far as the state goes.
